Blockseminar “Wie wichtig ist das Übersetzen im Fremdsprachenunterricht?”

An zwei Wochenenden im Mai 2010 findet an der Universität Duisburg-Essen, Campus Essen ein Blockseminar von Frau Prof. Zappen-Thomson zum Thema “Wie wichtig ist das Übersetzen im Fremdsprachenunterricht?” statt.

Kommentar:

Im Seminar soll auf die Geschichte der Fremdsprachenmethodik/-didaktik eingegangen werden, ebenso auf die verschiedenen Fertigkeiten im FU. Anschließend werden die unterschiedlichen Ansätze des Übersetzens untersucht. Die Studierenden sollen in der Lage sein, fundierte Aussagen über den Stellenwert des Übersetzens im FU zu machen.

Seminar „Language Learning and Language Teaching at Vocational Schools“

Within the scope of the cooperation mentioned in the last post, the students who participated in the seminar „Language Learning and Language Teaching at Vocational Schools“ chaperoned and supported the students of the vocational school during a virtual opening of a new supermarket branch in Manchester.

INGO Professional Network Forum founded

Prof. Dr. Bernd Rüschoff represented the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA) as its vice president at the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe in Graz, where, on January 7th, the INGO-Professional Network Forum on language education was founded.
